  • Minnie Dlamini Sport Goes Rural Foundation

    A key challenge in our country is creating a sporting platform where all kids can actively participate on an equal level, in a sport that they are passionate about, good nutrition and teaching the correct techniques required by qualified coaches and mentors.

    Another challenge we experience in South Africa is investing time, skills and proper training by professionals to the South African youth and communities.

    The aim of the RSD Rugby Development/Sport Goes Rural Foundation is to take rugby training to our local communities to reach a larger audience. Traditionally sport has been exclusive to well established schools only or sport facilities – we want to change that. We want to provide the correct sport training by qualified coaches to the kids.

    By doing so, we will provide the kids with a feeling of purpose, belonging to a group where they feel safe.
This could be the opportunity a child has been longing for, taking them “off the streets” and offering them a different opportunity for their future.

    It is our duty to change the current sporting playing field in South Africa – it is the right thing to do.
We have the talent within our South African Youth, but they need nurturing, conditioning & it must be sustainable.

  • UXI Sport

    UXI RSD Pathway

    The objective of the RSD PATHWAY is to develop the love for sport in all communities, races and cultures. We strive to develop motor-skills, safety techniques as well as life skills, which form the base for all sport men and woman. Our primary goal is the comprehensive development of the learner within the sport milieu. We encourage camaraderie amongst the players as this is one of the most influential and significant assets of team sport and particularly rugby.

    The four key principles underlying the RSD PATHWAY;

    1. Equal grounds – The RSD PATHWAY provide an opportunity for participants from all communities, races and cultures to get involved in rugby development
    2. The RSD PATHWAY is player orientated – Each aspect of the PATHWAY is linked to the capacities of participants at certain stages.
    3. The RSD PATHWAY is long-term – Children from age 3 are developed and conditioned
    4. Integration and alignment – Through the RSD PATHWAY, children can follow a route into the UXI structures
